Peter Meuli

I am the Climate Change & Energy Attaché at the British Embassy in The Hague, responsible for strengthening cooperation between the UK and the Netherlands to drive the energy transition across the North Sea. Prior to this, I have held different positions within the UK Civil Service, including as a Senior Policy Advisor on International Climate Strategy at the UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) – where I was part of the UK delegation to COP26 in Glasgow – and EU Strategy & Negotiations at the UK Department for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs (Defra).
 
In addition to roles in the UK Civil Service, I was previously International Policy Manager at Climate Group, an international nonprofit with offices in London, New York, New Delhi, Amsterdam and Beijing.
