Adela Hankus

Adela is the Communications and Members Manager at Climate Strategies, a nonprofit organisation and knowledge brokerage operating on the science-policy interface. Working with a network of distinguished researchers and policymakers, she focuses on storytelling and strategic connections within the topics of just transitions, energy, adaptation and mitigation, as well as local and international (climate) governance.

With a multidisciplinary background in Law, Urban Planning and Sustainability (having obtained BA and MSc degrees at University College Roosevelt and Utrecht University) and Service Design (studied at KU Leuven), Adela has been working in the NGO sector focusing on communications, climate and urban policy for over five years. She is passionate about bridging research, policy and practice, creative and visual narratives, and translating complex ideas into accessible communication materials, reaching wide and diverse audiences.
