Ana Xambre Pereira is an engineer, researcher, and climate justice advocate with over four years of international experience driving initiatives on just energy transition, responsible mining, sustainable finance, and community empowerment. At the Dutch civil society organisation, Both ENDS, she led advocacy efforts in Uganda, Nigeria, Brazil and, also, at the European level, by engaging with investors, governments, and civil society to push for environmental justice and corporate accountability.

Her work includes Shell’s divestment in the Niger Delta, the StopEACOP coalition, Vale S.A. accountability for the Brumadinho and Mariana mining disasters, and reforms on Export Credit Agencies. Skilled in coalition-building, stakeholder engagement, and evidence-based advocacy, she is committed to amplifying the voices from Global South partners and frontline communities in international decision-making spaces.

From an interdisciplinary academic background in sustainable engineering, innovation sciences and biomedical research, she aims to translate complex global challenges into accessible information and actionable advocacy strategies that strengthen the global climate movement.
