Federico Sibaja

Federico Sibaja is IMF Campaign Manager at Dutch NGO Recourse. He’s an economist from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in Argentina, and he works towards holding the IMF accountable for its impact on countries development and climate policies. 

He has previously been involved in civil society in Argentina in Fundación Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (FARN) where he was part of the Research team and where he led the work around debt and ecological justice. He coordinates civil society groups from throughout the world, including Argentina, Egypt, Pakistan, Uganda, Senegal, and has led research around IMF program conditionalities and policy advice and its related climate impacts.
